We are pleased to note that China Mobile Limited was included in Financial Times' Global 500 2011, ranking at the 16th place. In this ranking companies are ranked by market capitalisation. FT had included all companies where the free float - the proportion of shares in market circulation - is at least 15 per cent.
We are pleased to note that the China Mobile brand was included in the Millward Brown and Financial Times' "BRANDZ™ Top 100" for the sixth consecutive year. Currently, it ranks the 9th, the brand value is $57,236 million US dollars, up by 9% from last year. BRANDZ™ Top 100 has been jointly released by Millward Brown and Financial Times since 2006.
We are pleased to note that China Mobile Limited ranked number 34 as compared to number 38 in the previous year in the business magazine Forbes' "Global 2000-The World's 2000 Biggest Public Companies" 2011. Global 2000 recognizes the world's biggest and most powerful public companies as measured by a composite ranking for sales, profits, assets and market value.
