We are pleased to note that the renowned corporate rating agency Standard and Poor's has upgraded the Company's credit rating from A+ to AA-, and ascribed it with a stable outlook, after the raise of the long-term sovereign credit rating on the People's Public of China.
We are pleased to note that in IR Magazine's 2010 Awards presentation yesterday, the Company had won four prizes including Best overall investor relations Asia-pacific, Grand prix for best overall investor relations -large cap, Best ovrall investor relations by a HK company and best investor relations by sector- TMT.
We are delighted to note that the renowned credit rating agency, Moody's Investors Service, has upgraded the Company's credit rating from A1 to Aa3. According to Moody's, this action has been prompted by their recent decision to upgrade to Aa3 the ratings for the People's Republic of China. At the same time the outlook on the rating has been maintained at positive. The upgrade decision reflects the recognition of the strong financial performance and operating metrics of the Company. Moody's said this new rating also reflected the Company's underlying strength derived from its well established and leading position in China's fast-growing mobile telecommunications industry and ability to manage growth, both organic and acquired, such that its financial profile, consistent with a substantial net cash position, was of strong investment-grade quality.
Hang Seng Index Company Limited launched the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series on 15th of July, China Mobile Limited has been selected a constituent of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index.
Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series is the first index series of its kind to focus exclusively on Hong Kong and mainland China. The aim of the index series are to further raise awareness about corporate sustainability (which encompasses environmental, social and corporate governance performance) and serve increasing international interest in sustainability investment.
The Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability index includes 30 Hong Kong-listed corporate sustainability leaders.
We are pleased to note that China Mobile Limited was included in Financial Times' Global 500，ranking at the 10th place. In this ranking companies are ranked by market capitalisation. FT had included all companies where the free float - the proportion of shares in market circulation - is at least 15 per cent.
We are pleased to note that the China Mobile brand was included in the Millward Brown and Financial Times' "BRANDZ™ Top 100" for the fifth consecutive year. China Mobile brand currently ranks the 8th with brand value at $52,616 million US dollars. BRANDZ™ Top 100 has been jointly released by Millward Brown and Financial Times since 2006.
