We are pleased to note that in the IR Magazine's 2009 Hong Kong and Taiwan Awards presentation yesterday, the Company had won four prizes including the Best Overall Investor Relations- Asia Pacific, Grand prix for overall investor relations Large cap- Hong Kong, Best corporate governance and Best investment meetings/one-on-one. Besides that, Mr. Wang Jianzhou, Chairman and CEO of the Company won the prize of Best investor relations by a CEO - Hong Kong.
The Company is delighted to note that following the decision to change the outlook on the People's Republic of China's local currency guideline to positive from stable, the renowned credit rating agency Moody's Investors Service, has changed to positive from stable outlook for the A1 local currency issuer rating for us.
According to Moody's, their fundamental credit assessment of China Mobile Limited is underpinned by its leading position in China's fast-growing mobile telecommunications industry and very strong financial profile. They also say that the Company has demonstrated an ability to manage growth, both organic and acquired, such that its financial profile is of strong investment grade quality.
We are pleased to note that the Company ranked number 1 in the China Section of FinanceAsia's 2009 Asia's Best Companies poll in the three categories: Best Managed Company, Best Corporate Governance and Most Committed to a Strong Dividend Policy.
We are pleased to note that the China Mobile brand was included in the Millward Brown and Financial Times' "BRANDZ™ Top 100" for the fourth consecutive year. Currently, it ranks the 7th, the brand value is $61,283 million US dollars, up by 7% from last year. BRANDZ™ Top 100 has been jointly released by Millward Brown and Financial Times since 2006.
We are pleased to note that China Mobile Limited ranked number 55 as compared to number 78 in the previous year in the business magazine Forbes' "Global 2000-The World's 2000 Biggest Public Companies" for 2009.
