The Company is delighted to note that following the decision to change the outlook on the People’s Republic of China’s local currency guideline to positive from stable, the renowned credit rating agency Moody’s Investors Service, has changed to positive from stable outlook for the A1 local currency issuer rating for us.
According to Moody’s, their fundamental credit assessment of China Mobile Limited is underpinned by its leading position in China’s fast-growing mobile telecommunications industry and very strong financial profile. They also say that the Company has demonstrated an ability to manage growth, both organic and acquired, such that its financial profile is of strong investment grade quality.
